MavTUBE is a video portal for the Minnesota State University, Mankato campus that allows individuals, departments, academic units, and administrative units with media content to upload, manage, and showcase their media content for distribution to the campus or to the world at large. Leveraging the Kaltura Sharepoint plug-in, we have created an environment in which individual instructors can upload their content to share only with their enrolled students, or any other unit on campus can upload and share their content more broadly. The pilot project has only been in existence since August 2013, and already is creating significant buzz on campus. We expect massive growth in the coming year.
